I'm kinda in the mood to ramble right now and I have a lot of things to say that were on my mind recently, so expect a few more journals from me. Tell me if I start to bore you. :P

I appreciate the feedback on my previous entry. I read all your comments and it helped me to lighten up a bit. Thanks! I'll try to get back you all in return, but a bit later, because I'm lost for words right now and I don't just want to leave you with a 'Thanks' in reply...

And just so set things straight, I'm not doing this to get comments. I don't expect any comments, even. I just want to write and that's all.

I'll try to explain my current state of mind a bit later, if I feel like it (and in more coherent words). For now, I just want to talk about what's happening outside of my own shell.

I think I'll make a list out of it, because making lists and keeping things organized is one of my quirks. It gives an illusion of control over something.

1) Yesterday went almost according to my impromptu plan, and was awesome for the most part, if not for my own clumsiness. It's funny, really. I managed to avoid falling for an entire hour while I was ice-skating (second time in my life), but as I was stepping down from ice onto 'dry land', I tripped, fell and hit my right elbow at a bad angle. Nothing's broke, but my hand is in such a pain every time I try to stretch or bend it, that I think I ripped something inside. It's stuck in a half-bent position right now. On the positive side, at least my fingers are OK and I have no trouble typing. :P I hope it heals by the end of the weekend, though, because I can't even raise my hand high enough to touch my nose. Ow! TT____TT

2) I want to apologize to all the people awaiting commissions and prizes I promised to draw. I've made you wait an inexcusable amount of time and I'm humbly asking for a bit more of your patience. It will be rewarded in the end, because I'm putting more effort into commissions than I should (for the prices I set). It's also one of the reasons why it's taking so long. So thank you for understanding!

3) I've also promised to send some letters and gifts for Christmas, but I still haven't managed to do it. Firstly, because I wanted to send something special with each postcard and it took me some time to plan. Secondly, for the simple fact that I couldn't get to the post office. >_> Due to us being snowed in, the roads are pure hell and it takes me nearly twice as much time as usual to get home from work and by the time I do, the post office is already closed (it's near where I live, but it doesn't work on the weekends). So you have to forgive me for being late again. I will send out everything next week and hopefully the post won't take forever to deliver. I've heard that a lot of post services are still struggling to deliver packages that were sent out at the beginning of December, due to the amount of mail being sent and bad weather conditions everywhere. I want to avoid anything I send getting lost in the mail, because it would be a real shame...

4) My sister has fallen ill a few days ago and was taken to the hospital yesterday. We all hope it's nothing serious, but she'll be in the hospital until Monday still. *hugs Sis*

5) We had our cat Darcy neutered the day before. He was going absolutely crazy and meowing ALL. THE. TIME. We had no other choice. D: But he's recovering already, even if he acts like the world is his enemy.  It's kind of funny and sad at the same time. He's 8 months now and everyone keeps saying he's huge for his age. I have no idea why, because I don't see it. He is still small to me, if a bit chubby. He weights about 4,3 kilos. :P I'll post some photos of him when I can, so you can see what he's grown into.

To be continued... NOT.
(Got over it and changed my mind... 8D ).

Ouch! That sounds a lot like what I did to my arm awhile back. I had fell and landed on my left elbow, and couldn't hardly move the arm, or put any weight on it for a week afterwards. Though it's all better now.
